adidas Yeezy 500 to Release in Gravel-y ‘Granite’ Colourway

Kanye West and adidas know their way around a good earth-toned colourway. The Yeezy line's models – especially the Yeezy 500 – are available in dozens of different earth-shaded styles, and that number is growing by one with the recent introduction of the Yeezy 500 'Granite.'

The 'Granite' is nearly identical to the Yeezy 500 'Ash Grey' and the Yeezy 500 'Brown Clay,' but differentiates itself with its arrangement of brown and grey tones. A darker brown is used on the upper's mesh with eponymous 'Granite' shades on the laces and overlays providing contrast. Other greys and browns are scattered around the suede overlays and synthetic mudguard, with a final touch of 'Granite' gracing the zig-zagging adiPRENE midsole and outsole.

West's Grammys performance was recently pulled due to his 'concerning online behavior,' but the adidas Yeezy 500 'Granite' won't see a similar fate. It's set to release before the end of the Yeezy line's spring 2022 rollout and will be priced at a standard $200.
