Official Images: adidas Yeezy Knit Runner 'Stone Carbon'

While the world takes a welcome 24-hour break from Kanye West's (or Ye's, if you'd prefer) Instagram antics, the rapper, designer and bombastic social media figure's Yeezy line with adidas is keeping things moving with a release date for the Yeezy Knit Runner's 'Stone Carbon' colourway.

First revealed all the way back in November of 2021, the 'Stone Carbon' is the second colourway of the Knit Runner to come to market after the 'Sulphur' made its debut in September 2021. Though its colour scheme is much more muted than its predecessor – combining an earthy brown collar with a sharp slate grey upper and midsole – its laceless build is the same, with Primeknit reaching from the collar down to the outsole and covering a low-key midfoot torsion shank, plus a small text hit on the collar indicating each pair's size. The only visible part of the sneaker that's not built of knit material is the outsole, which features a classic herringbone traction pattern often found on basketball shoes.

It's looking like the adidas Yeezy Knit Runner 'Stone Carbon' will release on March 26th for $200. Whether this drop date is trolling Nike and Air Max Day (which occurs on the 26th as well) or if it's just a pure coincidence is up for interpretation!
