The Y-3 Ayero Debuts In Classic Black
Strutting onto shelves across the globe and oozing ’s signature futuristic cool is the all-new Ayero. Previewed earlier in the year as part of adidas Y-3’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection, the sneaker brings an industrial edge to ’s predilection for sharp angles and space-age aesthetics.
There's something military-tank-esque about the chunky, gun-metal grey sole, resulting in a sneaker that looks high fashion and heavy duty in equal measure. A soft suede mudguard in faded grey lends subtle contrast to the otherwise blacked-out neoprene upper, while a mesh toe box capped with black nubuck is balanced at the rear by a black nubuck heel panel sporting Y-3 branding.
