Travis Scott and Nike are set to release their Air Max 1 collaboration this month, the highly anticipated model put on hold after the Astroworld tragedy on November 5, 2021.

Reportedly arriving in five colourways, ‘Baroque Brown’, ‘Saturn Gold’, ‘Wheat’, ‘Cave Stone’, and ‘Grey Haze’, Tinker Hatfield’s beloved silhouette has this time been overhauled to reflect Scott’s outdoor-themed aesthetic.

Originally teased via the SNKRS app with a video titled ‘Bring the Future to Light’ (which portrayed scenes of the outdoors alongside Travis Scott in his home wearing the Air Max 1s), the sneakers are this time manufactured in mesh uppers with nubuck overlays. Unique branding comes in the form of rubberised Cactus Jack tongue logos and custom CACT.US CORP outsoles. Of course, Travis Scott signature reverse Swoosh emblazons the lateral sides.

Most commonly known as the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1, you can expect to see them on Nike portals under the name Air Max 1 x CACT.US CORP. According to Nike, these upcoming AM1s, 'reinterpret the brand in a new state as CACT.US CORP.' Look for the ‘Baroque Brown’ and ‘Saturn Gold’ colourways to begin releasing on May 27. The retail price is $150.
