After rumours of Travis Scott and Nike resuming their partnership swirled through the sneakersphere last week, the (la) flames of the hype-fueled fire are burning even brighter thanks the appearance of official images for Scott's collaborative Air Trainer 1s. Full sets of Nike product photos for both the 'Wheat' and the 'Grey Haze' have popped up, indicating that a release may be imminent and that the hiatus of Scott-associated Swoosh products after last November's Astroworld festival tragedy is drawing to a close.

'Wheat' offers an earthy colour scheme that combines various brown, black and mauve shades, while 'Grey Haze' is done up in a greenish-grey with accents provided by hits of soft yellow, black and even a bright green, a potential nod to the OG Air Trainer 1 'Chlorophyll.' There's also special 'Cactus Corporation' branding on the forefoot strap and heel, with Scott's signature backwards Swoosh gracing the medial quarter to add a little extra flair. From a material standpoint, each pair opts for a utilitarian blend that combines ribbed, corduroy-like fabrics with perforated micro-suede and rubberized leather.

Unzip a hidden stash pocket on the tongue, and you'll see that each pair comes with a special shroud that can be secured to the snaps running across the upper. As seen in the above photos of the 'Wheat' pair, this shroud can be easily removed from its resting place and secured atop the Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1's forefoot and midfoot. It even has instructions on its underside! Though the zipper on the heel may indicate a level of functionality as well, it's strictly for show.

The Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 was put up for raffle on Scott's webstore today, and will apparently make its way to SNKRS May 27. Each pair should be priced at $140.
