The Nike Dunk High Brandishes Black and WhiteRelease: 3 July 2021
The Nike Dunk High is going back to basics, set to hit the scene in a straightforward colourway of black and white. The release will provide a neat option for those wanting to keep up to speed with the current shoe-of-the-moment, but also not wanting to draw too much attention to themselves.
The colour-blocking is uncomplicated, with a white base combined with black overlays and side Swooshes. That same one-two punch hits the sole unit, with a white midsole sitting above the black outsole. The only deviation from the black and white combo is the ‘University Red’ branding on the tongue.
The Nike Dunk enjoyed a hectic 2020 and, so far, has shown no signs of slowing down this year. News feeds seem to be constantly filled with a wide variety of colourways, on-foot looks, and some tantalising yet grainy leaks. It seems the retrolicious Dunk has the enviable ability to capture the attention of sneakerheads across multiple generations. Among some of the recent notable schemes, we’ve seen Dunk Highs in the vibrant ‘Syracuse’, regal ‘Game Royal’, tantalising ‘Team Red’, Fragment colab, and the eye-catching ‘All-Star 2021’.
Pairs of this black and white Nike Dunk High are expected to hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists within months.
