The Nike Dunk continues to surge as one of the most important silhouettes in the sneaker industry right now, the 1980s hardwood classic recently seen in eye-catching ‘Lemon Drop’ and ‘Medium Curry’ colourways.

Now, Hiroshi Fujiwara is getting busy with the Dunk yet again, his Fragment imprint revisiting their legendary ‘Beijing’ colourway from 2010’s ‘City Pack’.

Back in January, we heard rumours of the return of the much-loved Fragment x Nike Dunk High ‘City Pack’, and while the new iteration is a departure from the OG collaboration, that’s not to say sneakerheads aren’t swooning all over again.

The 2021 version brings back the familiar purple and black tones seen on the OG. However, a key difference is that the new pair will not have a mismatched look, with black Swoosh logos on both shoes as opposed to purple/black. The purple tones hit the toe boxes, quarter panels, and collars, while the darker hue dresses the overlays and aforementioned Swooshes. Additionally, Fragment Design’s lightning bolt logo is stamped on the lateral heels, while the white midsole features style code print to complete the look.

With ‘London’ and ‘New York’ colourways likely hot on the heels of the ‘Beijing’, make sure you keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
