The adidas Yeezy 500 High 'Frozen Blue' is the Drip
The first high-top sneaker design since the inimitable Yeezy 750, the was first teased by Kourtney Kardashian on Instagram.
Making key material alterations to its low-top predecessor, the high-top replaces mesh with neoprene, while the addition of suede and reflective piping adds a visual hierarchy. Built with an adidas Feet You Wear outsole, and taking cues from high-fashion, the Yeezy 500 is still one of the most idiosyncratic designs in the Yeezy catalogue.
Manufactured with the future-forward adiPRENE cushioning, the Yeezy 500 High is now expected to arrive in ‘Frozen Blue’, the eye-catching colourway providing plenty of drip for 2021.
Arriving alongside two other colourways (‘SHAWRM’ and ‘MISTSL’), the Yeezy ‘Frozen Blue’ has been mocked up by House of Heat for a visual reference point.
