SONRA Head To Bikini Bottom for Latest Drop

For their latest, SONRA have taken a dip under the sea to bring a porous Spongebob Squarepants collection to life! Utilising the Proto 3 silhouette, both pairs created pay homage to Stephen Hillenburg’s fictional ‘Bikini Bottom’. First is the ‘Pineapple Under The Sea’ iteration, accurately dubbed as such, pulling design cues from Spongebob’s famous pineapple residence. The second on-theme pair is known as the ‘Two Gold Dubloons’.
Inspiration goes beyond just the colourway, as the pairs’ uppers and lining have been constructed with 100 per cent Pinatex aka pineapple leather, a vegetable leather alternative made from the fibres of the pineapple plant. Each release is highly limited, individually numbered and made in Germany. The pairs also come complete with four patches, one pair of socks and three sets of laces.
