Release Details: adidas Yeezy Foam Runner ‘Mineral Blue’

Kanye West’s red-hot Yeezy label continues to burn-up our release calendars in 2021, churning out a jaw-dropping amount of sneakers during the first half of 2021.

Just this month, we’ve had the release of the Yeezy Quantum ‘Flash Orange’ and the Yeezy 500 ‘Enflame’, and let’s not forget the record-shattering Air Yeezy 1 prototype that recently sold for a $1.8 million.

Now, we have official release details for the Yeezy Foam Runner ‘Mineral Blue’ colourway, the algae-constructed design joining the recently-teased ‘Red October’. A lynchpin of his commitment to a more sustainable enterprise, Kanye originally expressed a desire to make the Foam Runner the most affordable in the Yeezy catalogue.

‘So for me, I’m gonna make this shoe be $20,’ Kanye posited. ‘Money isn’t real, so the world should eventually be free.’

Originally debuting during the Innovation Festival in late 2019, the idiosyncratic silhouette sent Sneaker Freaker HQ into a spin when A$AP Ferg pulled up in them last year.

The adidas Yeezy Foam Runner ‘Mineral Blue’ is scheduled to arrive on May 29 via the usual Yeezy stockists, including GOAT and Flight Club.
