Release Date: The Nike Adapt BB 2.0 ‘White Cement’

After emerging earlier in the year, and initially being dubbed the ‘Oreo’, the  Nike  Adapt BB 2.0 ‘White Cement’ colourway now has an official release date. Dropping next month, the clean rendition of Beaverton’s high-performance basketball model is sure to attract sneakerheads with an eye for state-of-the-art technology. 

And it seems Nike are in on the ‘Oreo’ theme despite formally naming this version the ‘White Cement’. They’ve described this colourway as a ‘sugarcoated edition’ that features ‘creamy white’ uppers. But you can’t blame them for choosing the new name, because it’s not like the Swoosh stable doesn’t have a long-running connection with the ‘White Cement’ moniker.

A protégé of the Adapt BB, the Adapt BB 2.0 debuted at the beginning of  this  year, and features Team Swoosh’s FitAdapt laceless technology that keeps your feet snug and secure at the push of a button. It’s the same tech that immediately reminds both sneakerheads and film buffs of the Swoosh’s self-lacing high, high top that wowed audiences when Back to the Future Part II first hit cinemas back in 1989. In fact, Nike leveraged that connection earlier this month with the ‘Mag’  colourway of this modern baller. 

Pairs of the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 ‘White Cement’ will arrive on November 10 via Nike SNKRS and selected Swoosh stockists.
