Official Images: Air Jordan 1 'Bordeaux'

Centred around a rich burgundy shade, Jordan Brand's 'Bordeaux' releases – Air Jordan 3s, Air Jordan 6s and, most notably, Air Jordan 7s – have long toed the line between sport and lifestyle. Now, the Air Jordan 1 is getting in on the party with a 'Bordeaux' colourway set to release in the coming weeks.

Leaked by way of an uncannily accurate mockup back in November 2020, we've now been given a chance to check it out in full thanks to the revealing of official images. The simplest way to describe the 'Bordeaux' is that it's a colour-flipped take on the Air Jordan 1 CO.JP 'Midnight Navy,' one that swaps out all its blue accents for burgundy, retains a white leather base and holds on to silver branded detailing. It does, however, divert from its predecessor on the tongue, with a Nike Air embellishment that's placed on a fabric tag instead of embroidered directly into the tongue itself.

You can expect the Air Jordan 1 'Bordeaux' to release in a full family size run on November 20. Men's pairs will be priced at $170, grade school pairs at $130 and preschool pairs at $80.
