The Latest Imran Potato x Vans Collection Is From the Knu Skool

New York-based creative, Imran Potato, is the king of controversial, eye-catching design and has made a name for himself in the sneakersphere by bootlegging Air Jordan 13s, creating those Rat Slides, and of course, collaborating with Vans. The newest collaboration with Vans has taken a more subtle route though, with a duo of low key Knu Skools.

Imran Potato and Vans Knu Skool collaboration takes inspiration from 90s skate culture, Imran’s experiences during NYC winters, and his love of snowboarding. These pairs boast a fully stuffed upper with overstuffed tongues and a watertight suede fabrication. The side branding has also been given some serious heft, with an additional rugged outsole giving a heavy-duty vibe. Two classic Vans colourways have been created, with the navy iteration being the wider releases pair, while the black is exclusive to Imran’s channels.

This collaborative endeavour will also be hosted by the new subdivision OTW by Vans, which is a dedicated entity for co-creation product. We saw the brand debut their first collaboration back in February, with Sterling Ruby’s S.R. STUDIO LA. CA.

The Imran Potato x OTW by Vans Knu Skool will launch in the navy colourway on April 3 through select stockists, while the black iteration will launch on Imran’s webstore.
