Yohji Yamamoto’s line with has recently produced a split soled sneak known as the . While it’s easy to spot influences and compare various elements of the Y-3 shoe to other well known sneakers, as a whole it’s a unique beast. The neoprene sock, leather support structure and heel strap give the shoe an arsenal of foot-hugging arms, while the split sole gives a good helping of flex. We’re used to seeing stealth ninja-boot styles under the Y-3 banner but every now and then we get a different rendition. This round sees the Japanese design guru go green, dipping the shoe in ‘Real Teal’ and splashing it with ‘ Green’.
