The Nike KD 4 'Nerf' Is Ready to Score Buckets Again
One of Kevin Durant's most beloved sneakers is set to score buckets again in 2024. The Nike KD 4 'Nerf' colourway will launch on August 9 at Nike and select retailers.
It's official! Nike have unveiled eComm imagery of the upcoming KD 4 'Nerf', confirming that the historic colourway will return in 2024. So far, July is the month to watch, but stay locked to Sneaker Freaker to keep updated.
Basketball continue to bring back favourites for the OGs and introduce them to a new and younger generation. It looks like 2024 will be a big year for Kevin Durant fans, as the is set to return not only in the ‘All-Star’ colourway, but the extremely limited ‘Nerf’ colourway is dropping next year as well according to .
First released in 2011, Nerf brought their loud and fun aesthetic to Durant’s signature sneaker and cemented the KD line’s legacy. The collaborative KD 4 came in a special edition box that was accompanied by a Nerf basketball hoop in the same colourway in limited quantities.
The KD 4 was also the first time designer Leo Chang linked up with Durant, and this relationship is still going strong today, 12 years later. It’s unknown whether the 2024 retro will come with a Nerf hoop but fingers crossed that they will.
