A’ja Wilson’s First Signature Shoe, the Nike A’One, Gets Its Next Drop
A’ja Wilson’s journey has been nothing short of historic. Since being drafted in 2018, she’s stacked up three WNBA MVPs, two league championships, and a pair of Olympic golds – cementing her legacy as one of the game’s greats. But beyond the accolades, it’s her presence, poise and consistency that have kept her at the forefront of the sport. From her college days at South Carolina to her current dominance in Las Vegas, she’s stayed true to herself, and the results speak volumes.
That same energy flows into her latest chapter: the Nike A’One. Wilson’s debut signature model dropped earlier this year, and next in line is a colourway called 'Unapologetic', inspired by her personal mantra: Always Be Unapologetically You.
Named after the Olympian's Unapologetic Girls Summit, the unisex A'one carries that same spirit of bold individuality. 'Metallic Gold' Swooshes instantly catch the eye: mirroring the standard of excellence Wilson sets for herself and the next generation. The pearl-like synthetic base comes dipped in 'Hyper Violet', a shade that also reappears on the upper midsole for a tight colour story. 'Fierce Purple' dominates the rest of the build, while hits of teal and more gold branding on the medial side add contrast and energy.
The Nike A'One 'Unapologetic' will launch on August 8 via Nike and select retailers.
