Fragment's Nike Zoom Spiridon Is Due to Land in December
Earlier this year it was revealed that the Nike Zoom Spiridon had been lined up for its comeback, and now the silhouette's roll-out is finally getting off the ground. After an Undefeated collaboration was confirmed last weekend, rumours of a Fragment Design x Nike Spiridon have also proven to be true, as retailer images of two colourways are coming in hot thanks to Naked CPH. Alongside the previously leaked white and navy pair, Fragment have also readied a stealthy black iteration, with white and grey accents giving off a hint of subtle flair. Both pairs feature a ballistic mesh and suede build and mismatched Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides.
Peep the pairs below and look for them to land on December 5.
Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment imprint has a long history in the sneaker space, especially with Nike where he’s worked on some of their most iconic models. He’s crafted countless sell-out drops, grails and was part of the legendary HTM trio. Fujiwara has been increasingly active at the Beaverton campus in recent years, with rumours emerging of another Travis Scott venture, a leaked Air Force 1 and now a Zoom Spiridon.
It's not surprising that a collaborative Spiridon is on the cards, because Nike did tease the iterations return as part of their latest SNKRS preview. The iconic ‘Sport Red’ OG colourway is already on the cards for a Holiday 2024 drop, so collaborations launching alongside it seems like a very real possibility
Not too much information has emerged around the Fragment x Nike Zoom Spiridon, other than the leaked imagery above and a rumoured Holiday release. The colourway chosen is typical of Fragment: a simplistic blue and white. Materials chosen include a mesh base layer with a suede mudguard and leather Swoosh. Fragment logo detailing has been scattered throughout, including an embroidered hit on the tongue and co-branded insoles.
