Update July 27, 2022: We're drawing closer and closer to the rumoured August debut of the adidas Yeezy 450 'Utility Black,' and ahead of its drop detailed images have been revealed. Shown off by Yeezy Mafia, the 'Utility Black' is equal parts serious and whimsical thanks to its monochromatic colour scheme and midsoles 'spikes' that place it somewhere between a futurist fever dream and a delicious soup dumpling! Kanye West and adidas’ Yeezy brand has expanded rapidly over the past few years allowing them to pay more attention to their newer esoteric inventions such as the Foam and Knit Runner. The Yeezy 450 has also been a heavy focus and the team recently released a ‘Sulfur’ colourway off the back of the ‘Cinder’. Next up for the eye-catching silhouette is an alleged new joint given the moniker ‘Utility Black’.

Leaked imagery has arrived via none other than LA-based store CoolKicks! They’ve shown off the new murdered-out ‘Utility Black’ that looks erringly similar to the ‘Dark Slate’ iteration from last year. How can we tell the difference? For starters, the style code is different, last year’s iteration had GY5386 while this pair has HO3665. Secondly, the ‘Utility Black’ is truer to the triple black style and features a solidly-coloured PrimeKnit upper while its predecessor went for a faded vibe.

Nothing official has surfaced as of yet regarding the Yeezy 450 ‘Utility Black’ but according to our sources they should be arriving in August of 2022. Stay locked to keep updated.
