It wasn’t too long ago that sacai shared the news that they’ll be reworking their signature Nike LDWaffle silhouette, collaborating with the likes of UNDERCOVER, Fragment Design, and CLOT. In total, seven colourways were created and – following the recent roll out of Fragment Design’s muted pairs – the second CLOT colab has been locked in to drop.

The first CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle was crafted in the image of CLOT’s legendary Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’. It was blessed with ‘Orange Blaze’ tones and boasted a translucent panel, similar to the see-through AM1 toe box. This time, they looked to their ‘Kiss of Death 2’ to inspire the build and colour palette. Welded panels replace the stitched fabric look usually seen on the LDWaffle, opting for a sleek modernised take.
