On-Foot: The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘MX Oat’
It wasn’t that long ago that we got our first look at the brand new Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 colourway called ‘MX Oat’. Around a week since it first emerged, on-foot imagery has just surfaced to provide the first IRL look.
Throughout this year, Kanye West and adidas’ Yeezy brand have been going big with back-to-back heater releases that don’t seem to stop. The 700 and 500 have been given major attention, while out-there silhouettes like the Foam Runner have been accepted by the mainstream audience. In the midst of all the hype hustle and bustle, their flagship model the BOOST 350 V2 still remains their bread-and-butter.
The ‘MX Oat’ isn’t what we would usually expect from a 350 V2 release, which historically has been adorned in earthy or subdued tones. An oat-coloured base lays the ground work for a flamboyant glitch-like camouflage pattern that draws the eyes. While it is an unfamiliar colourway, you’ll find comfort that the construction of PrimeKnit and full-BOOST midsole remains the same. A fully translucent side stripe completes the look.
Is the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘MX Oat’ a welcome new addition to the ever-growing Yeezy catalogue? While on-foot pics have come through via yankeekicks, an exact release date is still yet to be decided. Keep your eyes peeled around October though, that’s when they’ve been rumoured to arrive.
