Despite its hype-factor starting to plateau after the initial 2020 boom, the Nike SB Dunk Low has been going steady, with colourways and colabs being churned out on the regular. Every now and then though, sneaky leaks and rare samples pop up, whetting appetites for Team Swoosh’s premier skate shoe. Recently, dank 420-inspired ‘Blueberry’ and ‘Bart Simpson’-looking joints have surfaced and now there's a ‘Black Toe’ iteration.

This isn't the first time that the Nike SB line has taken inspiration from Jordan Brand’s iconic arsenal of colourways, it wasn’t too long ago that the ‘Chicago’ covered the SB Dunk. This sample pair has arrived via rare shoe collector @bitchlikemykicks, coming through with imagery of the atypical iteration.

As you'd already know, the ‘Black Toe’ colourway is synonymous with the Air Jordan 1, being one of the OGs from 1985. It then returned in 2013, 2016, a women’s-exclusive satin iteration and also in low-top form in 2019. This SB Dunk version looks quite similar to the AJ1 Low, utilising a white base with black overlays and Swoosh with red touches arriving via the rear panel and midsole.

The Nike SB Dunk low pictured above is just a sample pair and probably won’t ever see a release, at least not anytime soon. We’ll keep you updated if there's any updates on this rare gem!
