Nike Give the Field General 82 a Modern Makeover
The takes a completely different approach to the OG, with only mere resemblance to the original design. However, in honour of their retros, the Swoosh have revealed that the 80s classic will make another return with a modern-day reimagination of the shoe.
Arriving in white, red and black shades, the upcoming athletic kicks feature a clean upper crafted from leather and ballistic nylon. Elsewhere, the Swoosh and heel tab are made of leather to continue the modern aesthetic. Unlike the original model, this pair won't come with obvious cleat soles. Instead, the sole will mimic cleats in smaller sizes for a seamless look and added traction for the wearer. Finally, Nike branding can be found on the tongue tab and heel.
