Event Recap: size? Celebrate 20th Anniversary with Preview Showcase
UK-based retailer size? celebrated their 20th anniversary by giving back to the sneakersphere, unveiling a grand preview of their upcoming releases for 2020.
Despite the look into the future, the crew didn’t forget to also take a look back into the past, throwing a stunning exhibition of their past collaborations and projects across several rooms at White Rabbit Studios in Hackney, London.
Just about stealing the show, the Nike Air Max 95 'Twenty Years of size?' looks set to be one of the most sought-after drops of the year. Reviving a whole lot of Air Max memories, the collaboration references 20 of the retailer's previous Swoosh link-ups. Peep our gallery above for an up-close look at the sneaker’s sports leather, nubuck, mismatched lateral and medial sides, and Safari print across the wild upper.
Meanwhile, adidas will continue their partnership with a Superstar and Gazelle Vintage from the ‘50/20 Cities Series’ and ‘Euro Celebrations Pack’, respectively.
One of the more intriguing additions to the showcase was a Saucony Azura 2000 ‘Zebra’, rumoured to aid conservational efforts. And, last but not least, a PUMA Style Rider OG collaboration also looks to be on the way for Easter.
Expect these size? collaborations, plus much more, to land some time in 2020. In the meantime, enjoy our snaps and stay dialled to our feed for updates!
