Sneaker history has seen few years as momentous as 1987, the year Tinker Hatfield introduced visible Air and changed the game. The Air Max 1 revolutionised sneakers, but Tinker wasn’t done; he followed it up with the Air Safari, whose ostrich-skin print became a Swoosh staple.
The 1 sees black and grey speckles wrap around the upper, while ‘Monarch’ orange pops call back to the original colour scheme. A white midsole and black, grey and orange outsole complete this 1987 tribute.
