Drake Teases New Nike Collaboration for December
Rumours have been circulating all year, but it looks like Drake’s first sneaker collaboration with Nike could finally be arriving! Drizzy took to social media to reveal a typically sombre teaser, which suggests a new project with the Swoosh will be arriving on December 18.
Upon releasing a range of collaborative apparel as part of the Certified Lover Boy collection in October, the Grammy Award–winning rapper suggested that the drop was ‘only the beginning’ when it came to his upcoming Nike projects. Will the 6 God be blessing the sneakersphere with some footwear?
The teaser features a drone shot of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline, which eventually pans to show what could be Drake’s Nike collaboration logo among the night lights. Those with a keen eye will remember the graphic of the shooting stars from the ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ music video.
Drake’s first Nike silhouette is still unknown, but murmurs suggest that the debut shoe will be an Air Force 1. We’ll have to wait and see if the rumours are true. For a ‘speculative’ look and what you can expect, be sure to check out our Drake x Nike Collaborations You We Need to See.
