The Drake x Nike Collaborations We (Don't) Need to See!

Drake Air Force 1 Moncler

What better way to get prepared for Drake's All of the Dogs than by imagining some absolutely outrageous sneaker concepts? From the opulent Air Force 1 ‘Manor House’ to the cozy boy ‘Toosie Slide’, these are the Nike x Drake collaborations we (don't!) need to see.

Nike Air Force 1 'Manor House'

Worth a humble $100 million, the inside of Drizzy’s jaw-dropping 4,650-square-metre luxury estate was famously teased back in April for the ‘Toosie Slide’ music video. Dubbed ‘The Embassy’, the Toronto mansion features a 20,000-piece Swarovski crystal chandelier, a bespoke concert grand piano, and the ‘OVO center’ – a custom NBA regulation-sized basketball court.

Rest assured, our Air Force 1 is as close as you’re going to get to Manor House without someone calling the cops.

Constructed with gold and frosted marble midsoles, the luxurious Air Force 1 features fur tongues and reflective mirrors on the toe and heel cap. Takashi Murakami flowers bloom on the print Swoosh, while KAWS's signature ‘XX’ is emblazoned on the lateral side.

Nike Air Force 1 'Hotline Bling'

Manufactured from Drake’s signature fire engine-red Moncler puffer jacket, this one’s so hot you’ll be dialling 911 long before the hotline girls answer your calls.

A sheeny nylon exterior takes technical cues from the eye-watering mountain gear of the 1980s, with goose-down filler guaranteed to keep you warm on your expeditions to The Six.

Originally designed by French mountaineer Lionel Terray, the incredibly resilient Moncler jacket material is ideal to combat the harsh and unforgiving environment of contemporary hip hop. With clean OVO logo tabs and Moncler logo on the heel, the AF-1 ‘Hotline Bling’ is perfect to stunt courtside at Jurassic Park or while throwing back glasses of champagne on the dance floor.

Toosie Slides

‘It go left foot up, left foot slide / right foot up, right foot slide.’

Look, it may not have the lyrical resonance of Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN, but Drake’s ‘Toosie Slide’ kept all the celebs entertained while locked in their billion-dollar ‘prisons’ during quarantine.

We thought we’d offer them a little extra padding to cry into with the Toosie Slide, a luxury patent leather build with the kind of incredulous, wide-eyed OWL logos that really capture the sentiments of the rest of us.

With OVO monograms on the footbed, the Toosie Slide also comes with added massage nubs for comfort, helping to alleviate any self-loathing you feel from questionable DMs the morning after.
