Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS are Back on the GT-2160

Copenhagen-based label Cecilie Bahnsen linked with ASICS earlier in 2023 to reinterpret the GT-2160, breaking the internet with a dual offering of Mary Jane-inspired sneakers. The revered partnership is now back for another official collaborative effort, utilising the GT-2160 once again and infusing similar energy to their previous endeavour.

The latest Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GT-2160 features two colourways, both inspired by ‘everyday couture’, and merges the brands feminine energy with ASICS’ futuristic tech. Unlike their predecessors, these iterations use vibrant uppers and slightly different constructions. The largest difference between the two is the tongue, which was removed on the silhouettes that released back in July, and the blue-toned pair also hosts a two-strap build. Rounding out this collaboration are floral motifs scattered throughout each colourway and co-branded insoles.
