ASICS Celebrate 30th Anniversary of GEL-Lyte III with Designer Shigeyuki Mitsui
Attention: The classic is back. are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the monumental . The seminal sneaker broke all creative conventions in 1990 with its split tongue and refined GEL cushioning system – let alone its neon-hued nylon makeup.
The GL3 has since transitioned from pavement pounding to key collaborative silhouette, plus the sneaker base for one of Sneaker Freaker’s very own ‘’, '' and '' releases.
ASICS are putting on a GEL-Lyte III 30th anniversary pop-up in Sydney (450 Elizabeth Street) on November 16 – and they want you to be involved. Come along to be among some of the first people in the world to own the latest retro of the GEL-Lyte III in OG Green/Yellow livery.
