Update February 15, 2022: The Yeezy 500 'Blush' restock was announced for February 19 and we've created a Where to Buy guide so you have the best chance at copping! Whether you're doubling up, or missed out on the initial drop and want to make a redemption cop, peep the stockists down below. We'll keep this updated as the release date draws near.

Update February 14, 2022: Kanye West and adidas' Yeezy 500 'Blush' has been set to restock for almost a year now – and its return to market is finally set to go down later this month. Pinpointing a date of return for the 'Blush' was akin to watching the Super Bowl through a full-face mask with holes in it (looking at you, Ye), as it was constantly delayed by supply chain issues, with its return originally set for the fall of 2021, then pushed back until January 2022. No more delays now, however, as it's set to hit Yeezy Supply and the adidas web store February 19! Take a look at our original piece/see a brief Where to Buy guide below.

Who remembers when the Yeezy 500 ‘Blush’ shook the sneakersphere in 2018? After a long lead-up to an ultra-limited release over NBA All-Star Weekend, with a seismic global drop following, the hype was real! And those who didn’t score a pair on that fateful day in April will be punching the air because the trusted information source on everything Kanye x adidas has let slip that the ‘Blush’ will receive a 2021 restock.

In a year chocked full of Yeezy drops, Kanye West’s bulbous 500 seems to be favoured just a little bit. The high-top version as well as the regular have received major comebacks, sporting new combos that make the already-loud shoe even louder. Unlike the recent ‘Enflame’ release, this OG Yeezy 500 sports a low-key material mix and a subtle all-over tone.

Dubbed the ‘Blush’ after the only colour featured, it can be best described as: an off-white hue with a subtle pink highlight. The regular suede, leather and mesh construction can be seen on the upper. Down below, there’s no BOOST, with adiPRENE providing the comfort instead.

While yeezymafia sent word of a restock, a 2021 release date is still yet to be officially confirmed. Stay locked to SF because we’ll keep you updated when word flies our way. While you wait, feast your eyes on the just-released Issue 45 of Sneaker Freaker magazine.
