Update: These sneaks are about to get a wider release. Catch them at Berlin’s Overkill from this Saturday, May 10th both in-store and online.
Aberdeen retailers Hanon have delved into Lacoste’s catacomb of forgotten soles to excavate the long lost Wytham court shoe. Freshly minted and remade in a double off-set, the OG mid-cut has been finished in a sporting white on off-white mix, with tumbled leather counterbalanced by chalky suede overlays sitting on a stitched cupsole. Precision detailing adds a rich veneer, with padded lining, sublimated footbeds, cloth collars and a sunburst perforation on the vamp. Crocodile references are subtly scattered throughout the shoe, while a tacked leather tongue patch is the proverbial icing on the cake. Co-branded dustbags and extra sets of laces complete the tight package. On-Court will be released on May 3rd, with just 50 hand-numbered pairs of the special tobacco colourway Off-Court edition available direct from Hanon’s own doors.
