Don't Sleep on Dingyun Zhang's adidas Samba

Central Saint Martin-graduate and Chinese-Mongolian designer Dingyun Zhang has made a name for himself within the fashion industry, working with the likes of Marni and Kanye West’s Yeezy. Known for his puffer jackets and inventive apparel, Zhang has now set his sights on his first-ever footwear collaboration.

Dingyun Zhang has chosen the tried-and-true adidas Samba for his upcoming linkup, decking out the upper in a full-black build that incorporates his signature design. The Samba’s collar has been accentuated with puffed-up synthetic fabric, while the rest of the build incorporates perforated patent leather and black suede.

You can expect the Dingyun Zhang x adidas Samba to launch on May 10 through select stockists and Team Trefoil’s webstore.
