Is the GEL-TERRAIN the Next Big Thing for ASICS?

We’re not even a month into 2024 and ASICS have already been a dominating force in this year’s sneaker headlines. The Kiko Kostadinov extended universe seems to be responsible for most of the ASICS hype, especially with collaborative debuts and the continuation of the NOVALIS line. However, for the wider public, the Kiko team will continue their in-house work, with the latest to land being the US4-S GEL-TERRAIN.

The GEL-TERRAIN is a brand new silhouette that harks back to ASICS’ trail archive, namely the GEL-Fujitrabuco series with subtle tooling stolen from the GT-2000 8. Hitting shelves earlier this month, four colourways debuted that all boasted Kiko-esque tones; however, the pairs officially reworked by the London-based brand have yet to arrive. Teased by @kikokurative, the US4-S GEL-TERRAIN reimagined by the Kiko Kostadinov studio boasts vastly different materials to the GR variations.

Two colourways have been unveiled of the US4-S GEL-Terrain via official imagery, hinting a release in the near future.
