Sneakerness, the Zurich-based 'Lifestyle and Object' Sneaker event came to Switzerland's Schiffbau club this month with a comprehensive exhibition that encompassed all the best facets of street culture. From Nike iD stations, premium adidas product, sellers displaying and bartering their holy grails, street wear apparel for days and custom corners throughout the venue, it turned into the biggest street event Europe had ever seen! The highlight of the day was the chance to get up close and personal with the limited edition NikeiD Bespoke +41 x Grotesk AF1, created specifically for Sneakerness yet unfortunately not available for retail. Thanks go to all the major brands that took time out to contribute to this project, along with the independents who gave an important voice to the next generation of sneaker cats and street wear lovers on the come-up. Sneakerness has become a massive success documenting, promoting and allowing a healthy networking system to grow on a global scale, all to better the cause of the humble running shoe.
