SNEAKER FREAKER X SAUCONY: THE BUSHWHACKERS

As part of our awesome ‘Ten Years of Sneaker Freaker’ anniversary celebrations, we have doubled down with Saucony to produce the BUSHWHACKERS, our take on the sturdy GRID 9000 runner.

We battered this badboy with a heavy cammo tint – desert sand and minty green hues are offset by noir suede and a satin black lining. We also used a modern diamond mesh fabric, elastic bungee cords for an easy-off closure system and added a rubberized tip to protect your toes from the elements. The GRID is a butch rigger, with more than enough junk in the trunk, so all-in-all we're super happy with the well balanced package and can’t wait to see ‘em on the mean streets.

Sometimes shoes are designed around a heavy theme, but in this case, we didn't even have a nifty name til the last possible moment. We had a few lousy ideas then someone told us they looked like Bushwhackers. So there you have it... get ready to be bushwhacked!

A small number of Bushwhackers are available right now from the Sneaker Freaker online store: buy them here. Stay tuned for a retail release on June 29th.
