FOOT LOCKER ART PRIZE $50,001 WINNER!

Well, here it is… the painting that has the sneaker and art world all abuzz. After sifting through close to one zillion entries, Foot Locker's panel of esteemed art critics have awarded the $50,001 World's Richest Colouring Competition prize to Brisbane artist Kalin Thompson for his phenomenal 'Forbidden Fruit' painting. Crammed full of imagination and mind blasting detail, this incredible piece of art was the result of 400 painstaking hours. In the words of judge Dave White, 'It was just a complete knockout.' As an added bonus Foot Locker commissioned custom artist extraordinaire Sekure D to bring the Air Force 1 at the heart of Kalin's painting to life. Check out all the chin stroking from last night's presentation ceremony at the Art Gallery of New South Wales below and peep some of the other entries to get the judges' coveted thumbs up.
