Way back in 1994, Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth founded X-Girl to complement men's label, X-Large. Gordon might not have much to do with the label today, but it's still thriving regardless. Now based out of Japan, the label produces streetwear tinged with an indie rock aesthetic for 'real girls'. X-Girl has many collaborations to their name – in the sneaker world they've worked with Converse, adidas, and Reebok, but now they're revisiting the latter to tackle their Insta Pump Fury.
The result is this star-clad runner with hits of pink. The padded overlays of the Insta Pump Fury are shaded with grey to match the patterning on the upper, while modicums of pink show on the midsole and pull tabs.
The X-Girl x Reebok Insta Pump Fury is available now from Titolo.
