German retailer 43einhalb have completed the sneaker trip of a lifetime, navigating the picturesque English landscape on the way to a special final destination: the legendary New Balance factory in Flimby. The team photographed 30 of the most iconic 1500 colourways along the way, but returned home with 31 — leaving the factory with six pairs of the exclusive M150043EH ‘The Trip’ to commemorate the special expedition.
A unique design by 43einhalb founder Oliver Baumgart, ‘The Trip’ is the ultimate homage to 30 years of the 1500 silhouette. Constructed with the revered Made in England craftsmanship under the watchful eyes of the 43einhalb team, the sneaker comes dressed in supple pigskin leather and breathable mesh. An earthy palette of dark grey, brown, petrol green, and light beige nods to the lush English landscape, while a white ENCAP-infused sole unit is an acquainted addition down below.
