No luxury fashion house is safe! Streetwear has come for them all. But we’re not complaining. Why? Because the more (sneakers) the merrier! Yes, most high-fashion footwear is out of our financial reach, but we like its presence nonetheless – it keeps things interesting.
Here to keep things extra interesting is the Valentino Garavani Heroes Tribe sneaker. The Italian fashion house’s moccasin-esque patchwork of colour and pattern is statement-maker – one not for the Triple S masses. To work this into an outfit will take skill, flair and a strong sense of personal style – rare commodities among the 'Off-White tee paired with 350 V2s' hypebeasts.
Fat rubber soles not only lend the Heroes Tribe that ever-important oversized vibe, but also place safe distance between street muck and lush, made-in-Italy suede uppers. Stepping things up from the colourway we previewed last week, here’s some hot pink. Black suede mudguards with red leather detailing, white mesh uppers with patent fuchsia eyestays, and colourful piping lassoing the entire shoe have us psyched to see how the shoe will be approached by those with a cool $1k in their pockets.
Head to Farfetch to flex.
