In the not too recent past, the shoe giant Nike really weren’t that focused on their SB line. Alternatively, they focused on technological advances and pushing different lines such as Flyknit, VaporMax, Nike Basketball, Jordan Brand, Adapt BB, Epic React, ZoomX, and Vaporfly.
That said, we did notice a slight shift in their focus in the early months of 2018. We spotted a considered seeding arrangement happening in the pre-game tunnel of the NBA and on the feet of artists like Travis Scott. The Swoosh’s biggest stars seemed to be sporadically flexin’ in SBs that they definitely didn’t have in their collection a year prior. This considered seeding effort essentially set the tone for Nike SB to make a serious return. While some of the old heads cussed it out, a whole new age bracket was introduced to this ‘new’ trend.
