Welcome To Bright St
‘58 Bright St’ is a new initiative that promises to add a new dimension to the brand’s classic sporting pedigree. The name itself is an amalgamation of the street addresses of the first Reebok offices in the UK and USA respectively, where so many original ideas were hatched. To that end, Bright St promises an open-ended conceptual brief that allows designers free reign to reinterpret Reebok’s heritage into newfangled forms. The preview we’ve seen so far is mind-bendingly crazy – in the best way possible.
Our favourite from the fledgling program is this InstaPump Fury Boot, a sophisticated spin on the that fuses a lightweight Vibram sole to the Fury’s experimental upper via a ‘Norwegian welt.’ Like chicken and waffles, this is one outrageous combo that has no right to work, but you got to admit – it’s pure genius!
The InstaPump Fury Boot will make its debut in premium black tumbled leather, plush grey suede and heavy-duty camouflage canvas make-ups. Look for all three to hit selected top-tier Reebok stockists on December 10.
