Vibram Furoshiki

Being exposed to the 'colourful' work of  over the last few years has managed to make us pretty desensitised to whacky sneaker designs; but Vibram has got us bugging out with the Furoshiki. Better known for their talents at producing soles than whole sneakers, the manufacturer has put their best foot forward and brought us a strange bit of footwear inspired by Japanese cloth binding. Looking more like a  symbiote attack than a sneaker, the Furoshiki is the first shoe to feature a 'wrapping sole' with watersport approved Wavegrip tech for that orca ninja-steez. Is this a fashion shoe? We're not sure, but they sure look weird – and not too much of a stretch from the line up if we're to be honest. Available in five colours, you can snag a pair from Vibram's website.
