With so many brands going for the de- and re-constructed aesthetic these days, it’s inevitable that all the big players join in out of fear of being left behind in case the trend really takes off. Vans seem to have hopped on the bandwagon with a chopped and changed Sk8-Hi Reissue.
The most noticeable modifications include inverting panels to attach on the outside of the upper, such as the heel counter and lateral eyestay. Other obvious changes are extra metal eyelets and lateral zipper. Oh, and we can’t forget the heel badge just completely removed and relocated to the lateral side for some reason.
