Japanese sneaker hub Mita Sneakers are championing the evolution of adidas’ ever-popular NMD silhouette, unveiling a collaborative NMD TS1. Cut slightly higher than most NMD variants, the TS1 is typified by the use of a quirky drawstring lacing system, which gives the model an in-vogue deconstructed aesthetic.
Mita have decked out the colab in black, and applied blue and green hits on the midsole detailing and on lower portion of the upper. The retailer’s recurring chain-link fence motif dominates the black background, while the coordinates on the heel tab plot Mita’s flagship store location in Japan and adidas headquarters in Germany.
Thankfully, you won’t need those coordinates to find a location to cop. The Mita x adidas NMD TS1 drops exclusively on July 7 in Japan, with other global Consortium accounts to follow on July 14.
