The crew at Bodega have their latest collaborative project: a progressive take on the . The Boston streetwear stalwarts build off the OG 997’s timeless style and heritage with an energetic offering designed to live on your feet.
Perhaps the ultimate rotation filler, the ‘No Days Off’ colourway nods to the sneaker’s unrivalled versatility and all-day comfort. Similar to previous collaborations with and , this latest 997S combines a mesh upper outfitted with leather and distressed suede overlays. ABZORB and ENCAP cushioning hits the sole, with a dimple-embossed neoprene bootie construction, X-Pac laminate heel counter and wavy mudguard design inspired by the NB660 providing the additional performance upgrades.
Our exclusive up-close pictorial shows off a seemingly accidental array of accents, which work to elevate a familiar New Balance grey base. Purple dresses the heel collar and trademark ‘N’ logo, while teal and orange hits play a strong supporting role. You’ll also be able to add your own personal flavour with three sets of laces in white, black and orange.
Set to retail for $160, the Bodega x New Balance 997S ‘No Days Off’ releases on April 4 on the and in-store at the Boston and Los Angeles Bodega locations, with an following on April 6.
