Designed for flexibility, breathability, comfort and an accessible price point, the Nike Roshe has never been renowned for its ankle support. If golfer Tony Finau didn’t know that before, he certainly does now.
Unless you’re resurfacing from internet exile, you’ve probably seen the vision of Finau dislocating his ankle during hole-in-one celebrations at The Masters Par-3 contest. The now-viral footage certainly hasn’t been the best publicity for the Roshe G golf shoe — or has it?

Nike debuted a new ‘Magnolia’ colourway for the tournament, featuring grey floral detailing with bright pink pops on the rubber-spiked outsole. Interestingly, Finau’s fail hasn’t hurt sales, with the release selling out everywhere.
If you’re after a pair of ‘Magnolia’ Roshe Gs, you'll probably have to fork out over $250 USD on eBay. Just make sure you keep the OTT celebrations on the course to a minimum.
