Nike just unveiled a special poncho that Tom Sachs designed for his upcoming Tea Ceremony exhibition at Tokyo City Opera Art Gallery, but that's not the only new Swoosh piece the renowned artist designed for the project.
Sachs apparently also designed special sandals for the exhibition. Featuring a Fidlock strap for a lockdown fit and matching pull tabs, the yellow sandals utilise a slightly modified version of the HTM Solarsoft Sandal that Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker introduced way back in 2010. That silhouette subsequently received a general release in a variety of colourways shortly thereafter.
It remains unclear if the Sachs-designed sandals will be getting an official drop, but they very well might: the aforementioned poncho is set to get a global release sometime after the Tokyo exhibition.
