Todd Snyder x New Balance's Uber-Limited 998 in 'Sunset Pink'
Style trailblazer and menswear designer , and he’s adding to the mix in ‘Sunset Pink’.
With colours inspired by Snyder’s favourite vacation destination, Palm Springs, there’s familiar brown detailing on the upper, offset with a pink on the toe and tongue. A speckled midsole, white outsole and tonal laces add to luxurious aesthetic and round things out.
The unique mishmash of colour wasn’t an accident, as Snyder explains: ‘In traditional menswear, a dose of unexpected colour makes for a really dapper, unique look. A bright sneaker like the NB1 Sunset Pink can function as the modern equivalent of a pocket square or tie — an unexpected counterpoint that brings it all together.’
