Here’s some uber-rare air, if you can even call it that! and Dan Sunwoo have created a friends and family to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Michael Jordan and the University of Carolina’s 1982 NCAA title, as well the team's 2017 championship.

Worn by Jordan during in 82, he is often quoted as saying he felt he ‘became Michael Jordan’ during the famed NCAA tournament.

“To signify the birth of MJ, I had the Converse logo fade out and the Jumpman appear,” explains Hatfield.

That familiar blue side panel detailing is accompanied by a premium leather construction. Vivid branding can be seen on the heels, with the left side a tribute to the UNC Tarheels’ 1982 uniform short. The right side tips its hat to the 2017 championship team’s version of the now traditional UNC argyle pattern.

Thinking about scoring yourself a pair? The release is sadly not available to the public. Exclusively gifted to the current UNC team, select friends and family of the program and will also receive pairs. Guess they deserve it after their stellar 2017 season…
