When Michael Jordan spoke to his Tar Heels alumni back in May, he offered a particular (and peculiar) pearl of wisdom: ‘The ceiling is the roof.’ What does that mean? Well, many were unsure, but some suggested the bungled sentence was aiming at something like 'the sky's the limit.' Its nonsensicalness didn't stand in the way of it becoming Tar Heels' new rally cry.

Jordan Brand are honouring MJ's gibberish with an AJXXX2 that marries the wisdom in with a MJ’s seminal championship in 1982. Encouraging you to be like Mike, these ‘Win Like ‘82’ Jays are decked in the Tar Heels' colours and have ‘Ceiling. Roof. Champion.’ on the tongue's inside.
