Exclusive Air Jordan 1s Are a Tribute to Craig Sager

On December 15, 2016, the NBA lost one of their most vibrant personalities when Craig Sager passed away after a two-year battle with acute myleloid leukemia. The TNT sideline reporter was know for his eccentric suits – he had at least 137! – that were at times even more exciting than the action on court!

Nike honoured Sager in 2016 with the 'SagerStrong' Air Force 1, released just months before his death to raise funds for the SagerStrong foundation. Only 100 pairs were made, making them one of the rarest AF-1s in the wild – but an even more limited Sager sneaker exists.

Jordan Brand created a special pair of 'Sager Vision' that combined a perfect clash of patterns and prints inspired by Mr Fancy Suit's extensive wardrobe. The words 'Sager Vision' are printed underneath.

DJ Khaled revealed the touching tribute on Twitter all the way back in 2016, claiming just two pairs existed at the time. However, the shoe has now mysteriously resurfaced in an on-foot image posted by Frank Cooker, suggesting the Jumpman may have new plans for the enigmatic make-up.

Jordan Brand have not officially announced plans to release the 'Sager Vision' Air Jordan 1 to the public, but Cooker's photo could indicate a return is on the cards. We'll keep you posted!
